TATEBA is an old traditional facility, drawing water from a 200-meter deep well, to keep eels alive. Eels that were purified with well-water to remove mud have no odor and become even better quality.
While the number of these traditional facilities has been decreasing to only a few by now, we have kept our TATEBA over many generations for more than 60years and this history is the origin of all. With the exclusive skills to distinguish the quality of eels handed down by our ancestors,we promise to serve the top quality eel dishes.
